Delaware Valley High School is proud to announce the opening of a new program at our Bucks campus beginning in the spring 2011 semester. As a result of an assessment of our School Districts’ needs, we have developed a
new
Accelerated Credit Recovery Program (ACR) at our Bucks site. This program will enable students to achieve additional credits in a variety of subject areas.
The Program will be held after our regular day session and classes will be in session until 3:00 pm. Students can complete up to two credits, utilizing the A+ program under the supervision of our certified instructors.
The program will be beneficial for the following reasons:
- Provides School Districts with the opportunity to restore their Students to their comprehensive home school.
- Help students with credit deficiencies to qualify for graduation status.
- Provides additional remediation opportunities for Middle and High School students.
- Increases the amount of instructional time for students who need a longer school day.
- Saves the District valuable dollars.
Transportation would be the responsibility of each district. We feel that this program can expand our attractiveness and effectiveness as an Alternative Provider.
Any district that currently has a contract with DVHS for 10 or more students will receive this service at no extra charge.
Please contact Mark Kaye (
mkaye@dvhs.org) with any questions regarding this new Program and thank you for your interest.
